fair, i'm not to familiar with the special manga
i prefer to go by game canon, it lets me imagine all the characters together without there needing to be a several book storyline explaining it

Actually, Ruby could pass for Red's younger brother, since they look so similar to each other. I wouldn't be surprised if they were related and they never known or just never told us.
