The shapes of flowers are natural fractals. UF has many formulas which can be used to make shapes like this.

I meant more the coroling formula, not the spiral shape. I've made some spirally stuff with Julias and Mandelbrots.

One of the coloring formulas is what gave the flower shapes. It's pretty easy to get spirals, the hard part is decorating them.
