Description
Introducing the Saint Denis Fire Rescue department. Featured in this upload is the Central Avenue firehouse. Central Avenue primarily serves the downtown and Central areas of the City of Saint Denis and also respond citywide. Central Avenue also serves as headquarters. The firehouse quarters Engine 1, Ladder Tower 1, Deputy and District 1, Rescue 1 and three medic units.

Saint Denis is located in Lemoyne County and is a very impoverished city. Approximately 50,000 people call the city home and are willing to do anything to make ends meet. The city is served by 6 firehouses and suffers from rolling closures meaning everyday at least 1 to 2 companies are closed for a 24 hour period. The only firehouse that does not face these closures is Central Avenue. The department is staffed by 180 Firefighters. In 2020 due to financial constraints, the city laid off 50 firefighters, fire officers and civilian staff. Due to the economic collapse, the city is littered with abandon and derelict buildings including old mills, hotels, other factories and private dwellings and stores.

This project is part of the Lemoyne Project. I will be completing this slowly and in between my Liberty City project and when I have some free time. With each Saint Denis project posted, more information about the department and city will be posted.
