I know a lot of haters who had waay more deeply knowledge of the show, characters, and the issues of the fans than the own medium brony. ironic, no?

Yeah OK I can handle the stamp, but does it really need the "Deal with it"? That just seems obnoxious. Like "I like cake. Deal with it." It's just rude.

It's because there are, in fact, a lot of people out in the world who would have a problem with it. And it's really none of their business, so when they try to MAKE it their business and get all confrontational about it...well, all you can really do is be confrontational right back at them. Hence, "Deal with it."

It seems to me though that the people that say deal with it are trying to cause the drama. If someone just says "I like MLP" to me, OK, fair enough, good for them. But if they add "Deal with it" then I feel like they're acting obnoxious.

Perhaps it does invite drama, but those who carry a chip on their shoulder aren't nearly as rude or obnoxious as the assholes who actually bother to try knocking that chip off, you know?

I guess. But it's just me that gets bothered when people have to say "Deal with it" after saying something. Especially when they say they're a brony or like MLP. I mean, would I say "I like ice cream. Deal with it"? That just sounds pbnoxious, doesn't it?

It would, but in that particular case, one would not be justified in saying it because...well, generally speaking, nobody has a problem with people who like ice cream. But plenty of people take issue with bronies (for reasons I'll never quite understand), so even though it might come off as irritating, I'd say the fact that we get so much hate puts us well within our rights to essentially say "I don't care what you think. Live with it."

I reckon they should only say they don't care if someone says right to them they hate bronies. I've seen a few times, people saying they don't like bronies on their own, then bronies flock there just to say how much they don't give a fuck. If they really didn't they wouldn't have bothered going there to say it... but maybe that's off topic. I personally don't care if someone's a brony, as long as they aren't dicks about it. Imagine me saying "I'm not a brony. Deal with it."
