/Edit: OMG WHAT THE HECK ;;;;; THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS!! I got a DD?!!!
This was so unexpected!! Thank yoou for your support guys ;____; And of course thank you for and for featuring it!

Hi guys ^___^
I've re-done my pixel icon tutorial.. there are two parts to this, because it's like, super huge. Haha sorry!!

Part 1 of 2.
Part two is here: fiveonthe.deviantart.com/art/A…

The pixel palette can be found here: www.kawaiihannah.com/pixelart/…
The DA user is:

I've found new methods, ways, tips and tricks that will help you out better than the last tutorial. Another reason why I wanted to make this so that people don't have to use their money on me, and making it themselves will make them feel - proud of themself for achieving something different / trying a new medium!

If you think it's hard, give it a try first. I used a tutorial before that was sort of hard to understand, but once I read through it again and again, look where it's brought me (It's up to you to decide if it's good or bad LOL) ~

If you have any questions, anything at all, let me know! <3

Thanks for making this! ^_^ But I just have one question, I have Photoshop Elements 10 so where would I find the animation option? ;u; You probably been asked this question many times...sorry if I bothered you.

Fiveonthe In reply to Sweet-Italian [2013-09-24 00:24:58 +0000 UTC]

I'm not really sure with Elements 10, but if it's not too different from the other versions then it should be under

File > Save for Web. In the dialog that opens the new window , check "Animate"

Checkmarking it sets all the defaults for the animation. At the bottom of the options you'll also be able to set the framerate/timing and to checkmark "Loop". Click on the Browser Preview button (bottom right corner of the Preview window) to see your animation in action.

^ found that answer from google~! Hope it helps! No worries

Used this tutorial to make my icon! This tutorial helped a lot! It was really hard to understand how to animate, since I used Elements 9, and it didn't have Imageready But I did understand it in the end! ^^ Thank you!

Fiveonthe In reply to NekoGurl12 [2013-09-04 09:08:44 +0000 UTC]

No problem! What kinda problems are you having?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

NekoGurl12 In reply to Fiveonthe [2013-09-04 20:14:00 +0000 UTC]

I don't really understand how to animate it. Is the animation part one a different program, and do you have to redraw everything if you wanted it to blink?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Fiveonthe In reply to NekoGurl12 [2013-09-05 00:14:13 +0000 UTC]

What version of Photoshop are you using? If it's less than CS2 then it's called "Imageready" and if it's more than CS2 then it will be under the "Window > Animation" tab.

There are many ways to animate~ You can transform the eye until it's closed or otherwise for you can redraw everything to animate. Usually you duplicate the layer and change what you want to animate
