Some personal Stryx art, because I've been doing so many AP payments lately. I'm also trying a little bit of a new style based around The Lion King and/or Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. Throughout my drawing life I've strived to give characters a very cartoony look without going into completely simplifying the design. I try to put focus in particular on the eyes and face, as well as in conveying emotion through not only the face but the whole body language. I wanted to try something a little different, and in at least the way I did the eyes here I think it'll stay.

While I (obviously) have a long way to go in terms of understanding anatomy, I've been making an effort to both make and 'break' anatomy in a way that looks more natural.
