Okay. I can explain.

I’ve been trying to try out new things and expand my art experience (because I would really love to take my art professionally) so I’ve been asking other artists questions about their art. One said that they use watercolor paper with colored pencils. I thought, “hmm. Interesting. I’ll have to try that sometime.”

Anyways, a couple days later I went to hobby lobby to get a new black colored pencil (because I run out of that color very quickly, in case you didn’t notice XD ) and my younger sister came along to get some sketchbooks.
Turns out they were having a 50 percent off all sketch books belonging to a specific brand.. So I walked out of there with a new stack of sketchbooks. INCLUDING water color pads.

And the first experiment I started in the smaller book was Tails. Because he’s Tails, and I love drawing his tails! XD (Seriously though look how fluffy!!!!!)

Anyway, that’s my explanation. Needless to say it didn’t turn out EXACTLY as well as I had hoped- but I’ll keep experimenting and see if I can get the hang of it!
