Again, thanks to for the idea! She also provided the layout for the second shot so I could properly position the video ref.Now available on Youtube!
This was so much easier to finish than I though it would be!!! Ahhhh! I am so relieved.
Critiques desired!! (Though please crit the Youtube clip, that one has been improved and is timed better for the most part.) I'd love to know how I can improve. I'm still a little rusty.
Made entirely in Gimp 2.6 (Youtube version assembled in Windows Movie Maker).

I made this entirely using the GIMP. Someone gave me tips on how to animate in there and it was so much simpler than I thought!

If I had to reach real deep to try and critique something I can't rightly judge anyway because I've never done it before.... I would just say the slip-down could be a little smoother. Not that I'd know where to start to do that. Though if I had to guess, I'd say maybe just drop the torso and hips at one constant rate and let the feet and legs worry about themselves? However squished or folded they get? And also maybe move his shoulder along with his hand in the second frame.

Oh gosh Flurrin.... oh gosh his little sobbing shudder that he does. ;.; And the tears. AND HIS HAND COMING OFF HIS FACE. My gosh, the shapes, and the speed just there.... are just perfect. And the hair spurting out from between his fingers.

I made video refs for both of these and it was so awkward watching myself cry on camera while I sketched asdfdsdkfdg but I NOTICED A LOT the hair included. The hair almost turned out horrible. I had to fix so much with it.

No, it's not okay to do that either, that's why Youtube tends to take those videos down. There is no difference. That's why there are licensing systems for public performance, for crying out loud.

Look, I'm not spoiling for a fight, but you can't have it both ways. Either you eschew You Tube altogether, or you use it. Being online burns energy. The amount of energy consumed in transferring 1 mb of data while online is equal to the amount of energy in one charcoal briquette. I'd rather transfer the music to my mp3 player, which has a much smaller carbon footprint.

I don't even know where you're coming from with this xD I'm not picking a fight or anything, I'm just suggesting that if you come across the soundtrack at a con, you should BUY it instead of thinking "Oh, I have those files at home already."
You wouldn't like it if someone posted your artwork on dA, right? It's pretty much the same thing, for a different genre.
