Showing you guys why I haven't been drawing for myself much, cause I'm drawing non-stop!!

This is an assignment from character design. We were to take a fable/fairy tale and interpret it our own way. I chose one I had never heard of before, called 'The Old Woman in the Wood'. It's a cool little story-->[link]

I changed it so that the prince was more of a prince of the forest...a woodfolk I guess, who lives among the trees, and the witch trying to take over and all that. Designed him as the dove as well! but then the teacher told me that I forgot to design him as the tree o__x; didn't know I needed to...

Also, the witch is a fAILURE! I got a lecture on how much she failed epically...so I had to redo it, which is in my next dev.

and dear GOD those expressions...she gave me a long lecture on how I sucked at those too....I got an expression book the next day so they look better next time...

She also questioned me long on why the prince had no shirt...cause I can't picture someone who lives among trees in a shirt!! I'm sorry!! I tried the shirt in his design and it sucked!!.....at least I took extra care drawing his chest so that I get it right but gaaaah, no shirt? you kidding me!? anyway...

considering this assignment was given over thanksgiving break, and I didn't wanna do it, I think it came out ok
