I kind of imagine this drawing as a fantasy of Derpy's. It's as if she's sitting on the train one day and got bored. Eventually, she begins to daydream about herself dressed as Luna flying on a giant muffin through outer space. For some reason, the sketchy outlines give it that daydreamy feel, or it makes it feel like she's doodling this on her desk or something. Either way, this is definitely something Derpy would envision. As for the rest of the technique, I love the different layers of black you gave to the sky. It actually feels like she's flying through the galaxy. The shading was done very nicely, as well as the whiter outline of Derpy's figure. I have to say, though, that the rock-n-roll hairstyle is a tad out of place here, but since it's kind of like a fantasy scenario, I'll let it slide. In the end, you made another great piece, FlutterThrash!
