A little project combining some aspects of a Bomber and a Fighter to create a middle thing for special use. Known usage not listed.

The Persecutor in it´s base model has a hard hitting slow firing blaster canon primarily for ground targets and is able to fire a limited amount of proton bombs for destroy-missions.

The TIE-Persecutors concept was to cast fast terror if needed in low atmosphere missions.
The power generator at the back did not provide much energy for the engines itself. The atmospheric Dive-Bomber was constructed for a more slower and precise flight over enemy target areas. Enough energy could be transfered to the heavy blaster canons and to a small but insignificant energy shield.
