okay, since the last post got a far better reception than i was excpecting (..i was expecting next to nothing) i thought i'd indulge further...
from left to right; Matrim Cauthon, Rand al'Thor and Perrin Aybara, main characters from the 'Wheel of Time'
selfishly last time i said i want more people to read it, or draw from it, it seems hardly any fanart exists for it! i want to see more!
I will create the fan art base all by myself if i have to!! lol

Wheel of Time is a spectacular series... I got really into it a few years back and completely neglected my studies for it...
Matt is absolutely spectacular. He quickly became one of my favorite characters in the later books, so I'm excited to see how your portrayal of him changes

Ohh man, you have no idea how excited I am for you! I remember my first read-through, and like I was telling =trishna87 if you got worked up enough to draw the small scene like the Cartman... I couldn't WAIT for you to hit the bigger points of the plot...
You're totally going on my watchlist, can't wait to see what you do when you delve deeper into WoT...
(ohh and about the excruciating lack of fanart, seems to be our only place of refuge. Good luck and good read! *is still tryign to convince =trishna87 to read them)

My drama teacher is a big fan of those books. She reads the whole series whenever a new book is about to come out. She also complains about the cover art a lot. Maybe if YOU did it, she wouldn't complain so much...

I loved this series! At least the first ones, I got up to book six and things started to drag/get lost and I fell out of it. The first books were mad love though. My favourite characters were most definitely Mat and Perrin... and if they're not your favs now, once you get ... ermm... through book 3, they will be!

Actually several of my roommates and their friends are HUGE Wheel of Time fans. They're just not artists and don't get involved in fandoms online.

Mat is pretty damn awesome. He's a bit annoying in the first book, but grows immensely as a character throughout the series. Thankfully, he never stops being a gambling, drinking ladies' man.

I liked him throughout, he always was the one to back out which gave a sense of realism to situations.
