Code Geass - Caught[Episode- R2 09]
I know this one is a little late compared to the other 4komas I have made. It's just that episode nine of this season left me lacking in inspiration. I did get this out on time before episode ten.
It was hard to find a scene to put my twist on. I wanted to do something with that scene of Lelouch and Kallen, but that was funny enough.
I eventually settled on the theme of the whole episode. That being the arranged marriage of the Prince Odysseus and the Chinese Empress Tainzi. Just seemed kind of sick. The Empress is a child. I'm not quite sure if she is really only ten years old, but she's so tiny it's hard to see how she could be much older.
The whole theme of this might go over your head unless you've seen those Dateline specials, "To Catch a Predator". To explain to those who might not of heard of them. To Catch a Predator is a show where they have people pretend to be underage children interested in meeting grown men for sex. Really it's the Dateline news crew, hosted by Chris Hansen, waiting there for the men. Normally, he interviews them, they leave, then they're arrested. I always got a laugh at these morons.
Originally, I was going to have Zero be the one talking to Odysseus and have him remove his helmet at the end to show it was really Chris Hansen, but I thought replacing that idea with the former reporter, Diethard Reid, would be far better.
Also if you don't know a Lolicon is a man who likes young girls.

PPS: It's like you guys forgot that just a century or so ago people were marrying 14year old girls left and right. She may be just a puppet emperor, but she's still an emperor. I'm pretty sure she's more than 10 years old, maybe about, what, 14, 15ish? That flashback scene with Xingke, she was speaking pretty articularly and it was apparently quite a while back as well.

You're not the first person to react to Tainzi in the second panel.
You don't need to add "PPS". Thats only aded once you uses "P.S." first. If you have a following note to add after that it would be "P.P.S.".
I'm not forgetting, but what you forgot is that this is the future. Also, centuries ago people didn't live as long as they do now.
Xingke mentions that promise was from six years ago. If she was ten six years prior she would of been four years old. That's old enough to speak. You also need to take into account her size. To Lelouch, who is about eighteen, she hardly comes over his waist.

I like typing PPS.
This is an alternate future diverging from about 55 BC if i recall correctly. The emperor already has like about a million children. Ep 9 only solidifies the fact that such marriages aren't uncommon. It's for pure political power, as mentioned in eps 9 and 10.
I'm still not really sure if she's 10. CLAMP art style and all, Lulu's like at least 200 feet tall and has spaghetti for arms.

The thing is that the people who were marrying the 14 year old girls back then were 18 at the oldest. Odysseus is at least 31.

2.Li Xingke hates Zero for taking Tainzi.
3.Code Geass R2 ep.10 will be a killer.

Actually it's unclear is Schneizel knows who Zero is. From what's been said the Emperor knows, Suzaku, and the team sent out to catch C.C. Past that I don't think the Emperor has told anyone else.
I'm sure he's quite angry, but I have a feeling things are going to work out rather well for Tainzi and Xingke.
I do look forward to the next episode.

Nice one, when I first watched the episode I felt really bad for Tainzi having to marry a guy who's probably three (or maybe more) times her age. Odysseus deserves all the mocking he gets, the f*cking pervert.

I was thinking along these same lines when the arranged marriage was brought up. I mean, he's the OLDEST of the King's sons (who knows how old that makes him, maybe in his late 30's?) and the Empress, like you said, can't be older than ten (it seems insane, even for a political marriage).
And of course, Deithard is always awesome.

Is the Prince a real perv? I mean, he came just in time when the Empress is just wearing a towel! I was like, "WTF? Is he a perv on kids?"
Second Panel:
OK, so his reaction makes someone feel totally creeped out or just plain comfortable... But I liked how the Empress goes from scared to panic! But I'd rather think that she went to call Deithard... ^_^
Third Panel:
An online name for a Prince? What does it mean... I really don't like to translate shorthands... But Deithard was like making the Ody look more of a perv!

This made my day! I googled "lolicon" just for this... And really... was the Empress really 10 yrs. old? It felt more like she's 8~13 yrs. old... "To catch a Lolicon"... now really... And I loved the cameraman detail... Wasn't he one of Todou's men?

I don't think he's really a perv, but it isn't like he seemed to fight the idea of marrying this child.
the empress is in a towel to mimic the show this bit is based on. Some of the times the decoy would greet at the door appearing to of gotten out of the shower. really she was dressed under the towel.
Second Panel-
Again this is like the show. The guys would enter in oddly casual, but the decoy would almost bolt out.
Third Panel-
Often times the host Chris Hansen would ask their real name and or online handle. I just added the touch to keep with the theme.
Fourth Panel-
I know that the empress is around ten years old. I'm not sure and I couldn't find anythign official to back it up.
The camera guy fits with the show. After Chris Hansen would tell people who he was the camera men would show up. I didn't base his character off anyone from the show.

Well the show the art is based on is "Code Geass". The joke is based on a NBC show called "To Catch Predator". Knowing both helps with the joke.
