have you ever had one of those dreamswhere your teeth are falling out?
inspired by a nightmare
i am really proud of this piece, probably one of my best so far.
the original is HUGE (3400 x 5000) so the details aren't very clear in this. sorry!photographer & model : me (i felt like a mummy trying to take this photo!)
teeth : my very own wisdom teeth
blood brushes : mine (soya sauce on paper!)

i had a dream like that about a year ago. i was playing with my dog and his head hit my mouth and then my teeth started falling out one by one. i wish i knew what it meant.

seems to be a very common dream! i didn't realize now many people have had dreams like this until i submitted this piece. i also wonder what it means, though i am sure it is something different for everyone.

This is amazing. I don't know why but i always preffer when you do this kind of art its just so graphic and gloomy collored. I d cover the walls of my house with this stuff if i had money!!!

I don't know if anyone has said this before, as Im too lazy to read the whole of your 4 pages of comments, but in some cultures they see a dream where teeth is falling out as an omen that someone in your family is going to die. However, if you aren't familiar with this legend, then I don't know how it could mean this in your dream.
I really like how this was done. It's reminiscient of a lot of the moods of my dreams. It gave me goosebumps

Very nice work. The feeling I get from viewing this image is not so different than the one I have after I wake up from a teeth-falling-out dream. I think they tie for the worst possible dreams ever (along with the work-related dreams where I'm completely incompetent).

I don't touch 'em or anything, but they feel loose. Suddenly, they all just start falling out, with lots of blood, sometimes no blood.

I've had those dreams before, at one point that symbol would show up in my dreams every night. I finally looked it up, and apparently it means your are feeling subconscious like you might be talking too much.

I had a nightmare a while ago of this. I was slowly dying, and it began with my teeth rotting and falling apart in my mouth, becoming loose and worthless. someone mentioned it's a fear of loss of power? interesting.
