This image is a very good start to a visually stunning image. I think if you messed around with the settings on your camera and got some different tones to the image it would be AWESOME. The settings I'm talking about are the color options (vivid, RGB, etc) Style settings can help with the images overall look as well. I often leave my camera on Landscape as the style, this creates darker yet richer tones. In your desc. you say you like to pretend to be a photographer, you definitely have the eye for it and I really think that if you play around with your camera and (even though many will think this is a no-no) use adobe or another photo editing program to tweek your saturations, contrasts, etc you won't pretend for very long. Like I said, you have the eye for it, you just need a small bit of refinement and you're there!
