I drew this when I joined the Discord of the Youtuber Radpax after reading through his entire sfw BL webtoon, and he seemed to enjoy the drawing.

Of Ashien and Dust was an interesting experience; a touch tropey, yes, but completely earnest at every single point with it's sense which comes with being from an "invisible minority", of being an object of an at once positive and negative obsession; fetishism, hatred, adoration, avarice, and genocidal violence, while also not even being seen as existing by your society's strict social order.

The Kafkaesque sense of being confined in the Disciplinary Institution, as well, important to Pax's life in multiple ways which I won't bother my page about here for respect to the confidentiality of others' personal issues, was strong as well, and explored in an emotionally mature way.

There are only three chapters of OAaD, and I'm curious as to what the rest is. It has more potential and puissance behind it than the usual cutesy pastel Webtoon. I think it was discontinued a long time ago, but whatever.

Aside, I always complain to myself about why all of my full-page drawings look like a 30 y/o Visual Kei musician in their proportions, face, and body language, only to continue using 30 y/o Visual Kei musicians for my references. This one was some less formal photo of Malice Mizer guitarist Kozi in-costume during the Bara no Seidou lives, but I couldn't place it exactly, outside of being from somewhere btwn. 1999-2001.
