I drew this as a Secret Santa gift for @plumosenemlevitan456 , in one such game on a Discord which we're both in.

For the drawing, the unicorn vomiting blood is, of course, based off of the horse from Guernica and off of Picasso's Modern Primitive period. I had been seeing lots of contemporary Conceptual Art in gallery spaces, and so sought to make a drawing which could make for a good canvas-sized painting.

As for the techniques? Due to many of my markers being perpetually dry, I found a technique where if I first went over a surface with a coloured pencil, then with a marker in the same hue, the eventual colour would be more bold and intense than if I had used either on its own.

To tell the truth, I was somewhat worried about the assignment.

Plumosenemlevitan456 said on her page that she was significantly bothered by sexual sasomasochism, which happens to be my main fetish. I try to keep my fetishes out of my art, since too much of my own fantasies would make the art itself shallow and boring. However, I have used BDSM-wear for its aesthetic quality in the past, which upsets that narrative. None of this pertains to the drawing at hand.

I know next to nothing about My Little Pony other than bronies getting pissy over people calling Rainbow Dash a lesbian, but I believe that Plumosenemlevitan456's unicorn OC is based off of Celestia.
