"You're really gonna push that?"

"Yep!"

"All the way up the mountain?"

"Right again."

"But it's so heavy..."

"Nothing gets by you does it. Next you'll tell me mountain's are tall and the sky is blue."

Logi stuck his tongue out at Fenrir before walking around the boulder, eyeing it thoughtfully before saying "I think your crazy but..."

Fenrir shot out his tail, using it to pluck Logi off the ground. "But nothing Runt! Beside it's not like anyone's asking you to push it," the dragon said playfully, depositing Logi on his back. "Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the show."

Fenrir paused a moment as Logi secured himself into the saddle, taking the time to psych himself up for the task at hand. He began stretching and straining his body, cracking his neck and rolling his shoulders. He continued flexing until he felt a slight kick from Logi, signaling he was ready. With that, Fenrir put his front paws on the boulder and began pushing it up the slope.

From his position in the saddle, Logi could feel the mighty dragon's muscles straining beneath him. He gripped Fenrir's mane as the dragon slowly accelerated from a crawl, to a slow staggering, and then finally settling on a brisk yet steady walk. "Wow Fenrir! I can't believe you're doing it!"

"Oh ye... of little... faith." Fenrir panted, focused on the task at hand, yet happy he was impressing his little brother.

The duo carried on like this for a time until Logi asked, "Brother, why again are you doing this?"

"Exercise."

"But you fly us everywhere. Isn't that plenty of exercise?"

"That's the thing, it's just flying," Fenrir explained, panting as he went, "I need to keep my back, arms, and legs strong too. For our protection. Not all of our fights have been in the air, and it pays to be ready." While all of that was true, Fenrir also had another reason. For the past few months, shortly after they left the colony, it had begun to feel like Logi's rucksack was becoming heavier. While the satchels on his hips were where Fenrir stored his gear, like maps, medicines, and even a few small crafting tools, he had given the rucksack on his back to Logi. Before they left, Fenrir helped Logi fill it with papers, books, and various writing instruments, intending it serve as a limited form of private space.

'All his sack has is books in it and it's not like we've gone anywhere to get more,' Fenrir thought to himself, 'So it can't  really be getting heavier. But still, it does feel different.'

"You sure are keeping a face pace. How fast do you think you'll reach the summit" Logi asked, breaking Fenrir out of his thoughts.

Glancing back behind him, the dragon replied smugly, "I bet I can make it in 15min!"

****30 minutes later.*********

Fenrir finally reached the top, staggering as he pushed to boulder onto a safe flat spot, before collapsing next to it. He lay there panting heavily with Logi still on him, too tired to speak. 'I guess I do need more exercise'

"That was fantastic Fenrir, good job." Logi said, stroking Fenrir's mane comfortingly. Tired yet pleased, Fenrir turned his head back and smiled at Logi. However, as he looked he saw something odd. Logi was reaching towards the boulder, at one of the many places it was cracking from the ordeal up the mountain. Not knowing he was being watched, the little human plucked a piece off, and tucked it into his bag on the dragon's back, allowing him to glimpse a pile of shimmer rocks within.

Realization began to dawn on Fenrir, "HEY!"
