Weeell... Yuki looked pretty during that whole little scene. And that was all the motivation I needed to draw something from it. ^^Although, sadly, even though I have all the people and stuff, I don't feel like this has as much detail as it needed... :/

Apparently it's possible to get Photoshop to work on Windows 7, but you have to upgrade. B| Which... yeah. No way in hell would I spend more money on an OS I don't even like to begin with.
Although some things about the whole situation seem like they might be looking up. I should know more in a day or so.

Woho! And what fandom is this? I love the pic! I love when titles create a certain focus in the picture you're looking at, and this one does that wonderfully X3 I don't know the characters but I love this artistic snapshot of a situation I can catch the emotion of, even without knowing!

Teehee! Oh I now what you mean, titles for ANYTHING (writing or art) are just painful! Sometimes they just come while I'm drawing (With the Sheik one, I knew it as soon as I saw the moment in the game and saw the dialogue - "I have been waiting for you." Chills!), but sometimes, it's just like... "okay...I guess after this effort I should try to come up with a title more creative and less technical..." but things like "such-and-such sketch" are all I can do

I'm glad that you have the ability to think of titles on a somewhat regular basis. I went back and checked, and only three of the titles I've had in the last year were ones I felt pretty happy about/came up with before the picture was drawn. So titles... yeah, they are elusive little things! XD
And I think going for easy titles is definitely the way to do it sometimes. I mean... your brain can be worn out from all the other stuff! It doesn't need to be depleted more by thinking up a title. >__<

As for detail: try some buttons. ^_^ Or golden belts with needle work, or plants on the columns, or windows in the back, or jolly stuff in the girl's hair... or just screw it.^^ You worked well with the different layers of distance. Only he could be more dim in the brown shadows.

As far as the details go, I didn't want to mess too much with the characters. The picture is based off a specific scene in the manga, so I wanted to stay true to the designs. ^^
The background was more of the issue. :/ I wanted to make something like a balcony, or some windows or something. However, then it started to take the focus off the characters. *frustration* It was a no win situation. B|

Hmmm. I know, when I draw a character (once in 3 years) and try to add a background, it completely changes the perspective. That's difficult. You said you wished for more detail, so I brainstormed^^ but I still think it is ok as it is now. Perhaps next time you can try something very simple, like shades, of curtains or trees, windows or somewhat.

I definitely appreciate your brainstorming on my behalf. ^^ I will probably do everything within my power to avoid drawing actual backgrounds, as I have done in the past. XD Although, all things considered, I don't mind drawing forests and stuff. I suppose those are easier because the lines and shapes are organic. Buildings and rooms are all so linear and stiff... it's harder to get them to turn out. >__<

Thank you! I'm glad you like it. ^^ I'm actually ambivalent... whatever ship ultimately sticks is fine with me (which is a very strange feeling for me XD). From the fact that Kaname and Yuki got together so early in the story, as well as her continued feelings for Zero, lead me to think that Zero/Yuki will probably be endgame. I just have a feeling.

Yuki looks very mature here, older too. And she is dressed properly, thank goodness! You made her look like the pureblood princess she was born to be, but still retaining her unique personality and look.
Zero looks very...sad. I should feel sorry for him, but I don't ^^ Mwahaha!

Thank you! I was suddenly like "Oh yey, I could totally make a not blatantly shippy picture!" XD I wasn't so happy about the first picture I drew of the two of them, so I obviously needed to try again.
