You know what would make this more dramatic and slightly more touching. Both Paje and Victoria wore a pair of friendship bracelets which symbolizes that their BFFs.
After their transformations, I think that both of those transformed young girls still have their minds intact. Granted their personalities are altered by their bestowed instincts out of being giant bugs but their personalities and memories are still there.
Both of them would then look at each other before proceeding to communicate in bug language. Asking each other whether that they are still themselves. Then, they saw their now damaged friendship bracelets, broken by their transformation process, before looking at each other in sadness as tears started to drip down their faces.
After several moments, both of them proceeded to hold one of each other's front legs before communicating to each other in bug language that they are afraid that they lost each other but still glad to see that they are both OK. Then, they fixed and put on their friendship bracelets on one of their legs before going on their merry way to wreak havoc together.
