I got to hold two exciting things today.
1. The absolutely sweetest little newborn! (I'm currently going through baby withdrawal.)
2. The proof copy of Shaun's book!!!!
LOOK AT IT! IT'S A REAL LIFE BOOK! IT'S SO COOL! Shaun grabbed it this morning at work and opened it as soon as he could. (Perks of working for the post office.) Now we get to start the proofing phase. I'm going to be reading through this with a fine tooth comb, trying to catch any mistakes that fell through the cracks. (I already found a typo! Punctuation is overrated.)
The kids just got home and freaked out. It was so cute! They both LOVE books, and think authors are just the coolest ever, so seeing their daddy's name on a book made them fangirl (and boy lol) pretty hard, haha!
