Not just another video game reference, but also a literal interpretation! I present Professor Edward Carnby from Alone in the Dark, the adventure game from 1992.

I never played it, but as I understand it, the first game in the series was a tremendous influence as the first Survival Horror game. The fixed camera angles as the player explores was certainly a feature that influenced the developers of Resident Evil four years later.

This guy was fun to draw. I learned a new trick for making the pattern on the floor, so I'm quite pleased with the piece.
