Okay, so a few days ago -X- asked me to draw a comic depicting the RIAA's recent 0wning of webcasters.. as a follow up to this news article . So this is what ended up coming out.. although it's not really specifically about that news article, just a general display of the RIAA's evilness. And actually more influenced by this more recent news article .Ah yes, and matteo asked me to do a comic for a satire site which he's a part of.. so this will be appearing on that. If he wants it I guess

HELL YES. this is true. has anyone read the article where the RIAA sued a 12 YEAR OLD GIRL for 2000 dollars!?!?!? that's just as bad as molesting a little child. what makes this even worse, is that she lives in the projects in the west side of new york. everyone that works for the RIAA should be shot.

Oh cool I was reading the article at winamp website and linked it here. Great job. Very funny but the reality is kinda sad. I buy original CDs but I also need to download MP3s to review any album before committing myself to buy. Most of the CDs I buy are from Europe it's expensive for to buy them here in Singapore. Each CD roughly cost me between SG$20-38, more for a boxset. I collect mostly metal/rock CDs so it's a lot more expensive than pop/hiphop/boyband CDs.

tisn't like people don't make copies on cassettes or cd's for friends anyways. How are we supposed to listen to music we haven't heard before or in a while (besides the one hour of music Mtv plays during daylight hours) or on the radio? I'm not gunna go out and buy a cd unless its a group i already like or if I've heard at least two or three songs from the cd already.

Obviously I hate the RIAA but there is enough said about that. In reference to just the cartoon, I REALLY like that background blur technique he used in the first comic frames. If you notice it produces a cool illusion of depth to the characters in the strip. Anyway...go to hell RIAA lol.

It's insane really... The RIAA has gone and sued a 12 year old girl for file swapping... Honestly, how low can you go? I love this comic strip, but truthfully, it doesn't quite do justice to how despicable the RIAA is in my mind. It's one thing to want what is rightfully yours, it's another to go not just a step, but an entire block too far, which is what has occured in my opnion.
The part where RIAA is about to impale the PC with a spear and then shoots it, as well as dashing back in to steal the guy's piggybank are utterly priceless. And how somber is that last panel? I'm going to
