And it turns out that I was discussing this with some friends the other day. Saying the exact same thing that Heart was waaaaaaay out of place.

He totally had the lamest power. You can see it evidenced in the battles they had during the show. Oftentimes they'd need to do something to thwart a bad guy, and everybody had useful powers except Mr. Heart guy. What is he going to do to anyone with his ring? Nothing. He might blind you a bit...after all it looks like a pretty bright laser. Or he might give you a rash or something...I guess those can itch pretty bad.

they could have at least made him able to heal people or something

Or maybe he could fill people's heads with false senses of motivation and caring!
People would be like "wow! I totally feel inspired to stop supporting the destruction of the rainforest via my capitalist purchasing of food products grown in areas where trees are burnt to quickly create crops which...ah fuck it. Let's go."
