It came out GREAT!
As critique: I would suggest applying a few broken lines (Similar to how you did on the wall maybe?) in 1-Point Perspective to create a little bit more depth in the background. And To blank, I would suggest Value shift where the ground meets the wall, to show the shadow bending at a 90-degree angle. He could do this by creating a multiply layer just above the background layer and applying at low opacity and start applying a few additional gradients of the same dark tone already used.

The only reason it stood out to me is because another student got critiqued for the same exact thing in my perspective class the other day. xD
You could just apply an additional gradient or two on the background layer in Multiply mode.
Just eyedrop the darker tone you already have there, do a selection of the floor area, and start applying a few of the gradients at low opacity and see what happens.
