Description It had been a week or so since Grace had 'left' and Ananchel had been watching Umbra/Cole from atop the tallest building in the town, a three story apartment building. She used the Mind's Eye, one of the very few spells that could be used by both users of light and users of darkness, allowing one to watch someone or something without having to be anywhere near it. The spell basically allowed them to see whatever they wished in real time for as long as the caster had their eyes were closed, though they could never hear anything from this spell. Ananchel was only still in the town so that if something did happen, and Umbra needed protecting, she could be there in only a few moments.
"I haven't seen him leave the house at all the whole week..." Ananchel muttered to herself, also finding it odd that Lucifer had yet to attack Umbra/Cole and that Belldonna hadn't went to see Umbra since Grace's existence was erased from the minds of every human in the town except Cole's parents, Cole himself was not truly human so he remembered her. As a half human he didn't remember certain details, but because of how close they were he did remember most things about her.
"Father will be attacking Umbra soon without me watching him like I used to..." She reminded herself coldly, though if it was because of the mention of her father or of Umbra even she did not know. She only opened her eyes for a moment to be sure that no attack on him was coming at that moment, but when she closed them again Belldonna was standing in Cole's room...
~In Cole's Room~
"That girl you used to hang around all the time...Grace Angél...what did she look like?" Belldonna asked Cole, who was still trying to figure out how she had gotten into his house and room unnoticed.
"Long blonde hair...bright blue eyes...pale skin and usually wears a lot of white..." Cole said after a moment of thought, he oddly found it slightly difficult to remember these simple things about her.
"Something's not right here...no one but us seem to be able to even remember Grace's name, let alone what she looks like...it's like she didn't exist to anyone but us..." Belldonna muttered.
"Like she...didn't exist...?" Cole repeated slowly, thinking hard. The only being beyond the Creator of Celestials, known to humans as 'God', who could virtually erase someone's existence was...Ananchel. Because she was not as powerful as him, she could only erase the existence from the minds of humans; half breeds like himself only had parts of their memories erased.
"But why would Ananchel erase Grace's existence from the minds of humans...?" Cole wondered, not realising he'd spoken his thoughts. Belldonna pretended not to hear him, but now she knew where to look for answers...
~With Ananchel~
"It about time she left..." Ananchel muttered as Belldonna left the house, waving back at Cole before walking out of the distance the Mind's Eye could show her from her target.
"It's very distracting to have anyone else talking to the person I promised to protect." She added after a moment.
"Ananchel!" A voice called from the ground as a rock nearly hit her. She was forced to open her eyes, looking down to see who had thrown the rock, only to see a person standing at the foot of the building, bouncing a second rock up and down gently in her hand. On closer inspection Ananchel recognised the person as non-other than Belldonna Nitmar. It took Ananchel a moment to realise that the human had not only thrown a rock at her, meaning she could see Ananchel, but had also spoken her name to get her attention.
"Belldonna?" She asked the girl who nodded, "How can you...see me?"
"That doesn't matter right now. Why did you erase the existence of Grace Angél?" Belldonna asked the purple haired celestial. The mention of Grace Angél confirmed Ananchel's suspicion that Belldonna had, at the very least, a bit of celestial or demon blood in her.
"Because I saw no point in keeping around a form that no one cared for." Ananchel stated uncaringly, sending the rock back at Belldonna, who threw the rock at Ananchel that she'd been bouncing up and down.
