Squalodon was genus of early toothed whales that lived from the Oligocene to the Miocene, roughly Between 34 to 15 million years ago. Squalodon are commonly referred as shark-toothed dolphins thanks to the protruding tusk on the tip of their jaws. Unfortunately they were also on the menu for the largest shark that ever lived.
