Archie's style in (a) certain issue(s) vs. Your style...

My opinion?

First Archie pic... Holding something's one thing, but Amy looks creepy with that grin and eyes... You made Amy look much cuter and definitely less freaky

Second Archie pic... Something doesn't feel right with the pose and basic shapes that make her body, head and face. Whereas you did an overall better job and gave Amy a cute pose to boot!

Final Review: I agree that if you could work for Archie Comics, that would be GOOD, GREAT, AWESOME, OUTSTANDING, AMAZING!!!
