Description
The original T-80 Starcutter was for its time an experimental Interceptor, featuring in it's base model twin sextuple ion engines giving vast amounts of thrust coupled with the larger wings and the reinforced fuselage. The orginal model was equiped with a state-of-the-art NavComputer and a Class 0.85 Hyperdrive for long range missions, from which the first batches of the T-80 Production models would find themselves in the role of Pathfinders from New Republic task forces hunting warlord, pirates and the occasion upstart Sith groups. Later versions would be kitted out with eight triple tube launcher packs for dealing heavy strikes ahead of task forces or outright knocking units out of the fight early before the rest of the task force arrives, either way the T-80's would find themselves either scouting out safe locations or hitting their targets before the rest of the war party arrives on scene.
