Yeehaw.

My new year resolution of drawing faster/more fluidly/not as perfectionist-ly is...going okay. I haven't been able to draw as much this summer as I would like, but there's still time for improvement. I especially wanna churn out more pieces like this that paint a bit of a picture of my characters and stories.

Some background, I guess:
This girl, Lunata, is a circus performer - namely the circus's water act. True there's not much watery stuff going on here, more so just...magic and lights, but that's all I wanted this pic to be, really. Hence the title. It's a spectacle meant to preface the REAL show. I'm sure she dives (literally) into her water act just after this little razzle dazzle ;>

Done in both Corel Painter and Photoshop.
