I was hoping this shot would be worthy of my featured gallery but I'm put off by the fact the blue tack holding up the bottle cap is peeking out behind the Sol cap.

I was also hoping to post process this a bit, but I'm back at my parents for summer and my old P4 Northwood desktop is painfully slow (this poor old machine has got to be about 8 years old) which combined with the fact I'm using an 8 year old TN LCD panel makes for unbearable photo post processing conditions so until I get my hands on my dads iMac this will have to go to my scrapbook

Any tips if I choose to give this shot another go in post-processing?

For what it's worth this is actually an -1, 0 +1 HDR combination with basic curves/levels adjustements. The bottle cap is resting on a sea of other bottle caps laid out according to overall colour though you can't really see the other bottle caps in this shot You'll have to excuse me if blacks/colours are washed out/oversaturated, I was aiming for realistic rendition of colours however this monitor could well be fooling me into a false sense of security.
