Jumping on the Sonic Boom bandwagon, it kind of feels like a fan universe or something and I CAN NOT look at Knuckles and not feel he looks like an idiot (I heart Knux so much)... But the cartoon and game looks like a ton of fun so I'll sit and wait, and most definitely watch

When I first saw Knuckles' new design a few weeks ago I wanted to cry... I get that Sega wants to give the Sonic characters a more grown up and new era kind of look, but they made Knuckles look as if he took steroids >_<

All I want is for them to give him his old Boxing Gloves back. If they did this I can forgive the weird buff body. They took one of the most iconic things about him and it pisses me off.

Apparently Sonic Boom is targeted Solely at kids, so the spin off might not be that great to is older fans.
But we all know it is more likely Adults would want to watch it then just kids.Β

Only thing that really bothers me is knuckles has fingers, other than that it's all fine and dandy XD

I'm not a fan of Knuckles' new design, but the others actually looks pretty good, I think, almost like they strolled right out of Fallout: New Vegas or some other post-apocalyptic game.
I'll probably pick up the 3DS game out of sheer curiosity, but honestly, I think if they want to make another popular Sonic game, they should bring back the Chao Garden.
As for the artwork itself, you really do the new designs justice... I'd say Knuckles looks a bit odd, but this is the new Knuckles, and I think he looks odd, too, so... -Thumbs up- Right on the money there.
I also like how you used the checkered background tiles from older Sonic games. One of those little nostalgic touches really goes far.
Overall, I like the piece as much as I like the new designs themselves - Pretty freaking cool, with one oddity. Although in your case, it can't really be helped.
