Description
Once again I was bored. So I started thinking things like "man.... a lot of anime guys wear big red coats."Then I thought something like "what if there was like... a crime or something, and the witness could only describe the coat?"
So I drew up a police lineup and added the 5 most stereotypical red-coat guys I could think of. It's pretty easy, but the first one who guesses them all gets... a cookie.

I apologise if someone has already told you this, but I'm not reading 7 pages of comments ^_^ A lot of anime characters wear red because in japanese comics and little kid shows the main character is ponted out as being the one in red (or orange). That is why there are even small things in most anime, like Ichigo's orange hair in Bleach and the thingy holding his sword is red, and Ed's coat, and the list is endless. But basicaly what im saying is that it is tradition for the main character to be decked out in red in some way, though not all of them do it anymore...

It's Vincent Valantine from Final Fantasy VII( one of Cloud's buddies) - you may have seen the film( Advent Children- it is really popular these days lol) or the game. Or maybe just around devart- he seems to be extremely popular- not nearly as popular as Cloud Strife but still...

This is probably late but Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia, Vash from Trigun, Ed from Full Metal Alchemist, Alucard from Hellsing and Vince from Final Fantasy 7.

Was just debating with my friend the other day about how many awesome characters wear red coats (and plotting making one for myself)
This sums up the majority of examples we came up with, apart from Dante, and Genesis Rhapsodos of FF7:Crisis Core (i think).
