Hi there guys! The last mont I was invited to Polymanga 2013, in Montreux, Switzerland. Was an awesome convention with a lot of awesome people
I was lucky to meet Mr. Hiroshi Nagahama (director of Mushishi, Detroit Metal City and Aku no Hana, I admire him a LOT) but also I didnt know that Giger Museum in Gruyeres was near. In the final day of the conevention, Daniel one of the guys of Polymanga staff give me a little tour in Gruyeres and Giger Museum. To me, HR Giger it was very influential 
my father show me Alien when I was 3 or 4 years old, he told me "you like star wars? you know, space, monsters and that kind of stuff? well, maybe you will like this" (XD THANKS OLD MAN!) so be there looking is awesome original paintings and concept art for alien 1, 2, Poltergeist 2 and Speces was a really big moment to me ... oh! and later I eat the famous Gruyeres fondue Was a perfect day!This is a little 1 hour warm up, trying to replicate his style in an original compo/design by me

I must say it looks very Giger-esque, but even if I didn't know it was you who made it it still lacks some of his special feeling to it, so I wouldn't believe them if someone told me it was genuine.
For good or bad (depending on how close to a real Giger you were trying to get it), you have made a very Giger image that still has.. I guess you could call it "your personal touch".

Giger's style is definitely... "unique" to say the least. I'll never forget being in my film class at the college near me and reading the passage about a critique's interpretation of the spaceship the astronaut enter being equatable to a woman with her legs spread open, and the astronauts being like sperm or whatever, invading the woman, and finding her clutch of eggs inside.

HR giger's style was reallymessed up i didnt get it but when i was an imachure kid i was like HUHUHUHUH SHE'S A SEX ROBOT but now i see down to the details of it and when i tried to draw it i couldnt copy it for shit its really odd but its like a horror movie its scary but you cant look away, its just perfect....its flawless drawings its not a specific style he followed or any of the sutch, he did him and it worked out and now he's a great artist in the world of painters and sutch

Yo recuerdo con especial ilusion, en mi segundo o tercer aΓ±o de carrera, en le universidad politecnica de Valencia organizaron una exposicion dedicada a este autors (con obras originales suyas), todo gracias a que uno de los profesores que tuve aquel curso es amigo intimo de Giger.
Lastima que no logro que viniese a la inauguracion.

I'd give anything to visit the Giger museum! Alien is perhaps the greatest influence on my imagination, probably watched it when I was about the same age as you but I saw it before I watched Star Wars xD
