A quick tutorial done in 5 minutes for a friend (5 on the draw paint, 5 on the the writing[link]
Just 4 steps, to render in B&W using just 1 layer. I hope this could be of a little help
I gonna shot some more basic tutorials in the future, in few quick steps.

1.-Sktech Rapido
2.-Añadir luces, el color blanco no esta admitido en esta parte del proceso
3.- añadir texturas, puedes hacerlo con brushes o con una textura en un layer con modo overlay o multiply. Unificar y suavizar los brochazos
4.-Seleccionar el area y añadir sombras con el airbrush, despues añadir fuentes de luces y voila

yeah XD indeed my mother languaje is spanish (chileno), but i use to talk in english cause is like the language by default in deviant.

jajajajaj si soy d españa xD jajajajaja m da risa xq ninguno d los 2 sabia xD jajajjaa y si yo tambien uso ingles para hablar con mucha gent en deviant
tio m gustan mucho tus dibujos y de hecho estoy estudiando diseño grafico en part para aprender a hacer ilustraciones asi... puedo dibujar personajes pero no tngo ni idea d como pintarlas en photoshop o algun programa d diseño xD
bueno un abrazo igual y sigue subiendo mas arts ^^

eesta super genial me ayudo a entender muchas cosas. pero igual tengo una pregunta que es el airbrush y como se añaden las fuentes de luz?? mi ps cs esta en español quisas por eso no entiendo los nombres, si tu conoces alguna guia para poder conocer ps te agradeceria muchisimo si me pudieras mandar el link porfavor,,esque yo dibujo super bien y quiero comenzar a dibujar en ps pero no he podido porque no se usarlos ,, compre la tabla y la uso solo para practicar,y crfeo que no he avanzado nada en mi evolucion como dibujante,,te agradeceria mucho si pusieras ayudarme pofavor.. yo admiro mucho tu trabajo , gracias maestro

el airbrush es el tipico pincel de PS que no tiene borde definido y sus bordes son difusos. vas al lado del flow (flujo) arriba, y ahi aparece su pestañita.
tampoco tiene por que ser precisamente eso, puedes usar un pincel difuso y bajarle la opacidad y el flujo y ya estas

Hey guys. *GENZOMAN is surely a great artist. However, a battle already erupted on the older comments about plastic/rubber skin.
But, the very difference in *jeffsimpsonkh 's skin texturing is enough to make both these artists be completely different in how their art looks.
Not to mention, Jeff looks more realistic, Genzoman looks more stylised.

i think u misunderstood my comment... it was just me expressing awe in the visual coincidence in the brush work and shading
both artists have hugely distinct feel to their work, dont be too sensitive

I really love the textures and gradients, but I have never been sold on your specular skin highlights. Unless they are made of plastic, no one is that shiny
