New York City Sunset Around Christmas Weekend 2012.I've never seen this view before, but really enjoy it. But then I was rushed out of the park because it was getting dark. Apparently Parks in NYC close really early. Managed to get this shot off though, I wouldn't say it is the best I've ever taken, t at least it was at least ok. Desktop size.

Ive shot that location at around midnight, did they put gates up at the entrances of that park? on paper they close, but its not enforced that hardcore. Awesome photo!

also easy to get a fine if the cops rolls around. My friend was a tourist and got a ticket while he was in some park after hours. Just walking through too.....

The texture of the water is awesome. Parks operate differently around here, but Brooklyn Bridge Park is sorta in construction so they might be a bit weird about working hours. I have never seen park hours enforced in Central Park for example, though I am sure they do it at some point of the night... Cool capture, anyway.

Good point. Construction. One time my friend got a fine for crossing Morningside Park at 12 in the morning. And he was just there as a tourist visiting a friend...I know. its next to Harlem, but he not like doing anything shady.....

Yeah, Brooklyn Bridge Park is going to be quite awesome when they are done with it. Morningside is weird. I don't spend that much time in the area even though I am a student at Columbia, but it seems ridiculously over-hyped as a dangerous place. And then just when you think it is much safer, someone gets shot there...

The shadow reflections of the docking poles look beautiful.

This is really amazing. The separation of the city and the dock by the sky color is balanced by the continuity of the poles perfectly.
