Description Hunter was walking up to the avatar station, worried. The Clan First had nominated him to teach the new generation of Hunters. His clan was in orbit, 100 thousand miles above Pandora. Teaching was not his best point, but the Clan First had ordered him to, and the First was sacred.
He arrived at the Avatar Station, and asked Harper, who was the mate of Chimera, where she was. Harper raised a quizzical look and said "I haven't seen her for days. Why would you want to see her?"
Hunter explained the basics, and Harper was satisfied, or so it seemed. "I think she's around the Hometree."
So Hunter began his journey to the Hometree, invoking the curiosity of the Na'vi. He usually stayed around his home, and did not venture to the Hometree except for great events.
The reason for this was because Chimera was the protector of this world. Alien races had to clear with her first if they wanted to land, as the Humans did not, and invoked her fury. Hunter was concerned , for this was the young bloods of his clan, and these were the only Young hunters this generation.
Chimera was talking to Tsahik, but both of them were quite startled to find Hunter at the Hometree. This had to be a huge occasion, and everyone wondered why the Hunter was here. Hunter cleared his throat and spoke.
"Chimera, I have a great request to make of you. This shall determine the strength of my clan dramatically."
Get on with it, thought Chimera.
"My clan have been training our new Hunters for years. But the final phase of their training is incomplete. For which, I shall need to train them in the Field.'
Chimera thought she knew where this was heading. This did not sound good.
"I request that I be allowed to bring this new generation of hunters, down to this planet, and teach them to Hunt."
Many things happened at once. The Na'vi drew breaths of indignation, Chimera clearly said "No." Tsahik began to think, and one idiotic Na'vi Hunter said "You alone should not be here! To havemore of you would be catastrophic!"
Hunter smiled. Clearly this one did not understand, among others.
"What you do not understand is that these are Young hunters, 7 or 8 by human timelines. They will do as I say. Things like 'Listen to the teacher' are hammered much more clearly into their heads. I assure you they will not disobey me."
This offer was tempting, but Chimera still said no. "The arrival of you disturbed the flow of power enough. More of your clan will only wreck it!"
"I shall only bring down a few! Maybe only one, maybe ten!"
"My final word is no."
Hunter straightened up, and then began to walk back. His final words were:
"Then I have wasted my time here."
Hunter Disappeared shortly after and the Na'vi were left with a sense of discomfort. These were the Hunters of his Clan, and they refused. Chimera's decision seemed to have a bad effect of the Na'vi, who scattered with a sense of disillusionment.
Hunter, however, was walking to a flat, open space and activated a beacon for the class to come down. A Cruiser floated down towards the plateau, and landed. Out came a party of 5 younglings, and the Cruiser took off and left.
Some of the Na'vi  Assembled and watched in shock. Chimera had denied the class to land! But images spoke better than words, and the class was tiny, seemingly insignificant!
Chimera arrived soon, and walked up to the Hunter. "What are you doing? They should not be here!" but this time, her voice was not so convinced, as if she was regretting every word .Some of the students were so small she could pat them on the head!
Chimera chose her words carefully, because she wanted to make it sound like the hunter could teach, but he would be watched.  "You may teach, but only if you agree with the rules of the Na'vi."
The Hunter Smiled and said "I shall teach them what I have learned." Which encompassed basically everything about Pandora's Flora and Fauna, and which animals to hunt, and to avoid, and such.
This seemed like a good idea. For the next two weeks, Chimera followed the class at a distance, observing. Hunter did not seem to teach them precisely about the beasts of Pandora, rather how to track and how to find out what has been at that position, and when.
Chimera's efforts turned out to be pointless. The Hunter and his students committed no crimes against the world, and the only deaths were a Hexaped, a few Viperwolves. The Hunter then took them into the jungle and taught them some basic survival skills.
Chimera leaned against a tree, thinking. This was pointless. The hunter clearly knew what to do on Pandora. Then a thought from Hunter came to in her head.
"Hello. I saw you watching the class for these weeks. Really, you don't need to do this."
Chimera replied, "I have to watch. Even though you clearly know what you're doing, I have to do this."
The Hunter said then: "The students from left to right: Chicken-shit, Smartass, Failure, Agrajag and the one who I think is one of my sons.
Chimera laughed out loud, and queried "Are all your race such idiots?"
"Oh no, I was exactly the same. My teacher called me Stupid."
Chimera Laughed more and asked "One of your sons?"
"Long story."
"But what about that one…Agrajag?"
"Oh, Agrajag is my race's language. The Term means Bloodthirsty idiot, and it was named for the Agrajag, one of another clan's First once."
Hunter began to walk back to his camp, and his final words were;
"I have to get back now, I expect I shall see you somewhere or somehow. Goodbye!"
Chimera began to walk back to the Hometree, smiling. Hunters were just another race, and they had every right to be here as the Na'vi. Maybe she will consider letting Hunter's clan land on Pandora.
