Based on a rough sketch done in 2003, refined, painted and beefed up so that it get's worth posting.

JDAM, oh I hate wars of course, is GPS and radar guided missile system, but when I saw the word in TIME I thought it would be fun if I applied this idea to a fantasy RPG character. Attributes: sky unit, direct and long-range attacks available. Beware not to be hit hard, defence is weak. Once released, the tiny dragon automatically aims at the target, then attacks.

The only problem of this JDAM is that one slice of meat will easily divert the "missile", making it as a quite effective chaff/flare evasion device.
