God, I gotta say you really knocked it out of the park with quality right here!
You are always improving with color, and this is a great example of how much. Awesome work, and awesome job on the whole thing. very cool.

very impressive indeed, I've read the comments you've gotten so I'm going to repeat what's already been, But I agree with the others! This is by far your best work to date that I've seen.. really mastering the command of the water color medium plus, your drawing skills, posing, lighting, comp,

Ooh, very nice. The watercolors have a very different feel than your usual work though I can't quite put my finger on the reason.

I love the shadows and how the background is subdued and slightly less detailed. You're textures are awesome, and with watercolor no less. I think this is one fo my all time favorites of yours.

Thank you!
It just takes a bit of practice to learn how to control the colours. I say you should try it!

wow, everything fits so well as a whole .. your stones and snow are perfect, the character bold & simple, you've made each detail count, this easily belongs in a fantasy book
impressive shading & colours, you really are getting better ~

The background and the way you did the line art this time around really brought it together.

I like the way you control the watercolor. It fits perfect with your style. Plus, he's one kick butt Dwarf!
If you could change anything about your work, what would it be? And what do you feel you would never change?

GH-MoNGo In reply to Mafeo [2008-09-13 00:57:14 +0000 UTC]
Thanks a bunch!
If I could change anything, I guess it would be to make my work more expressive and dynamic. It tends to be sort of stiff. I can't say there would be anything I'd never change, though. Art is a process of always evolving and changing to make your work better.
