Description
I am really bad with titles.Anyway, I did a sketch in my sketchbook, liked how it turned out, amd decided to colour it. Nothing more to it. I thought it would be a nice contrast to a much more mellow piece I'm currently working on.
HB Pencil, Photoshop 7, Painter IX. 4 hours total.

Out of curiousity, when you do the eyes, you do the pupil big on purpose to make him look more angry or that's just the way his eyes are? I'm not saying it looks bad, I was just wondering

Just his right (our left) pupil is larger. Just to hive him a more crazed look. Usually his pupils are smaller.

Given the way he's standing it looks more like he's belting out the national anthem or belching the alphabet than roaring. If he were leaned forward with his arms spread apart in a wider more aggressive stance it would look more like a roar. I think there's something about the head which mellows out the pose too but I can't quite put my finger on it. Still, I like the pic and think you might have fun doing a caption contest with him.

The tassels have always been there, ever since I first drew him in November 2005. Back then his beard was longer, his hairline was back more, and his beer belly was smaller, but it's the same character. [link]
