Full Name: Misty Van Hamato

Nicknames: Mist, M, Van Gogh (laughing on the inside)

Age: 14-15 (in this photo)

Weapon of choice: Misty uses a bo staff. She’s too afraid to hurt herself with any of the sharper/metal weapons. But she still practices with a wooden katana just incase, and she is highly skilled with the bow and arrow.

Backstory:

I covered a bit of this in another post but I might as well type it again shrug shrug

Misty was born as a normal gecko in the kraang laboratory along with other different species of reptiles and mammals. The kraang would experiment on these poor creators, sometimes even humans. as an accident , one of the kraang robots tipped over a canister of green ooze, spilling over three little geckos. Unfortunately, two had an unsuccessful mutation, leaving one alive. They didn’t know what to do with it so they put her in a room with another experiment gone ‘wrong’. Luckily for the two small mutants, not even a day later they were found by a curious turtle who heard their cries, and were brought to their new home that same night.

Relationships:

Misty’s family relationship is quite strong and she’s extremely close with her uncles, father and grandfather. Even when everyone has an understanding that Leo has taken her in as his own, the turtles and splinter to her are all her parents/guardians. As for Danny, some would consider the two cousins whilst they identify each other as siblings. They grew up in the care of 5 great people, 7 if you include Casey and April. Family means the world to misty, next to waffles. Waffles are good too.

Onto romantic relationships. Misty would identify herself as asexual. She was never exposed to romance as a child, so seeing it for the first time was a shock to her, she thought it was gross at first and to her all the closeness and touching was unnecessary. It didn’t take her long to see it as a normal thing for humans, but never saw herself having a romantic relationship of her own.

Extra; Since misty has more DNA of the gecko, she has the ability to see in the dark and climb walls. Unfortunately she can only carry her own wait at her age so if anyone were to latch themselves into her while she’s climbing, they’ll both tumble to the ground. She’s also cold-blooded, meaning she has to stay as warm as possible otherwise she’ll get incredibly sick. The turtles worry for her a lot, especially with her carefree attitude. In the winter she’s always wearing layers upon layers just to keep her warm. Donnie has installed a heat lamp in her room for the winter and a regular heater for any cold summer nights.

Im not entirely happy with the outcome of this but I also don’t hate it. So I guess you can say I’m content
