Story snipit!
Hazel fumbled with the heavy device. It landed with a thud on the dark, mossy ground.
"This is the last time I let Jeremy chose the location of the becon."
She opened the device to reveal a computer of sorts. After clicking a few buttons, and turning a few of the dials numbers began rolling over the screen; which reflected eerily off the visor of the helmet. A blue flash caught her attention, she turned her head to the corner of the device.
"Hello Hazel." The Smart AI said sweetly.
"Sup?" She replied. "Is all information here?"
"Yes." The AI turned around and shivered. "I sense something else here in the forest."
Hazel laughed. "Nothing on radar. Something must be wrong with your curcuits."
A twig snapped behind her. The AI screamed and vanished. Hazel had been wrong. An Elite was standing behind her, Plasma Pistol raised level with her head.
"Well... hello there." She said quietly...
