SO sorry for the wait, I am so sick right now, I've been spending most of my free time resting/napping and trying to not feel so poopie.Anyways, I promise you that I love Shadow and that this isn't to hurt his character in any way. I just think out of everyone here he'd not only hate this new found ability the most, but he'd probably have the most trouble with it.
I am hoping that the next page will be posted much sooner than this one, however I AM still very sick. Now if you excuse me, I need to take another nap..zzz

I can guess why he doesn't like the 'hearing thoughts' thing. He doesn't talk much or share about himself or his past to other people; he keeps it all bottled up inside. (though given what's happen to him and what he is, who can blame him? Not easy stuff to share)
I've notice though that in issue 4, some of that is revealed a couple of times in his thoughts. So now that he's in a place where someone or anyone can hear his thoughts, I bet he's gonna have a VERY hard time keeping everything bottled up inside himself. Am I right?

Man, hearing other people's thoughts can be awkward. But I think it's the most awkward if you're like Bunnie and are the only one in the room who CAN'T hear what the others are thinking. Then you have no idea what's going on. And Shadow, I refuse to ignore that. It was too damn funny.

It's called a feeding tube, "A tool used for feeding." Well, this is Saphfire's version of one in paradise. Basically, a feeding tube is a tube that is connected to a patient's belly button at one end* and a a bag of liquid(The liquid has nutrients) at the other. This is often "used to provide nutrition to patients who cannot obtain nutrition by mouth, are unable to swallow safely, or need nutritional supplementation."

It looks to me like it's only the stream of consciousness (aka: self-talk) they can hear, not every little thing. So technically Shadow could hide his thoughts by mentally going "Lalalalala!"
But it looks like they all have to be awake for it to work, otherwise Shadow and Silver would have figured it out earlier.
