at first view, i contempated whether the figuer fit. but quickly i decided the photo needed him, the man humanises the photo, makes it more than just a landscape - a very beautiful one at that

The person on the left looks fake. I think the photo would be 10x better without him, but you are the photographer. Im not trying to say that it is a photomanip, just that the person looks a bit strange and that I don't think he belongs. Great picture, nonetheless!

The man was caught a little blurred.
I have several shots without him and with him, and I found that one has the best balance.

excellent photo... i love the slightly "off" color balance.. it gives a very industrial feel...
the subject is great, however it would be much much stronger with a different model.. perhaps w/out a backpack and plaid shirt...
im sure you just the photograph as it was at the scene, but you could really play with the irony of the scenery by using a well thought out model..
anyway, good job overall... the only slight technical problem is you oversharpened by a tad..

I know what you mean. If it was a couple walking the beach hugging.. That could be awesome!
Or a beautiful nude girl playing in the sand, or a little girl looking up at the chimneys...
All could be great, but since I didn't direst the scene, I had to do with what was there, and ut turned out really cool
