Description
In the darkest nightIn the dying hours of the city
When the streets are like flames
And your body escapes your thoughts
You connect with your innerself
You walk your fears away
Find courage to face yourself
To contend the resaults
Maybe it's all in your head
The world that hates you,
Is the one you created
Maybe it's time to change your world
To do it alone
*****
Jerusalem, Israel.
At the Jaffa gate on forgiveness time, during the week before Yom Kippur, the jews dedicate to saying forgiveness to god and eachother, on whatever bad they have done.
10mm lens
1/2 second panning.

The background is nice.. but IMHO you should learn panning a bit more The human in the pic really shows the panning wasn't that good.
Otherwise great pic, the background makes it very interesting!

Classic panning is done while the object is moving in front of you. Moving on the side creares an angle that no panning can be crispy sharp, you are on a different movement axle than the object.
I tried what I can, and I didn't want to be opposite him, so I can get the full prespective of the wall.
Thank you!

Yea, I just mean that now you kinda got 2 different figures... Crisp sharp object isn't must, but those 2 different figures.. well that ghost thingy is kinda disturbing.
And yea I know you did what you can, didn't mean to offence Just thought this part of photography might be something you might practise a bit more (:
I dont know if you for example have mountain biking races around there but they are nice ones to practise panning! You learn to pan in few different ways at the same time. Though I agree that panning fast moving subjects is a lot easier than slow moving subjects because it's easier to move the camera fast without moving it to unwanted direction than to move it slowly.. [link] If I use one of my photos as example.. (: Panning down & left and the bike was coming at me. So not the classical situation either.
Anyways I by no means wish to fight with you (: the picture is great nevertheless!
