Description
I don’t remember where I was going
Rushing to get there and see what lies ahead
Taking the fast lane just because I am tired of taking it slow
There was suppose to be a final destination to this trip
And now I’m on the road but I don’t know where
I don’t remember where I was going
But here I am
****
This is an Infra Red filter (Hoya R72) used on my Nikon D70. I used a Tripod and blended a regular shot with the Infra Red shot for this result.
Infra Red ---> [link]
The shot was taken in Kadita, nestled in the Galilee Mountains at an altitude of 780m, on the southern slope of Kutar Mountain.
I was there doing a photo shoot for the Tourism department of Israel, and though it wasn't about these kind of shots, I simply can't resist

Again it makes me want to write a story. Something with travel, and the concepts of the familar in the strange and the strange in the familar.

Caution! This car is not for muggles! (that's a Harry Potter joke that I hope a few of you get) The car looks magical and I'm sure you desaturated the landscape to give the car life and impact that it wouldn't have ordinarily have had. You've got awesome stuff Gilad! Peace!

your photos are amazing in everyway....sometimes when I look at them I feel so small and inferior....or I'm intruding on a perfect
piece of work, stolen from a moment in time...
You have great work....

That's incredible!! I wonder how one person can find so many beautiful things so often! The yellow pops amazingly well, and I really love the mood created by the dark/dreary surroundings. And that sky!

wonderful shot gilad, really interesting techinique. I've tried to reproduce that effect using adjustment layers, but nothing is quite the same as the real thing

Amazing photo. I hope to try IR soon again (recently gone digital). I have bookmarked your tutorials on IR and will have to refer back to them. great job on blending the photos too.

Very nice composition. The yellow car and the blue sky - awesome!
Would be very interesting how exactly you did the blending.
I tried it several times but there are always 2 problems
- my IR shots are always a little bit unsharp (even with tripod and iso200 ...)
- and the blending looks very ... strange
