Description
Long way to go
If you run through it..
It will be over quickly
And wouldn't that be a shame?

Running through the inside court of the Jerusalem high supreme court, Israel.

I find this a bit eerie... ghostly... And I love that aspect of this picture a lot. I could get stories out of this and that - to me - is a prove of great piece of art. Beautiful! ^_^

This picture is really daunting, did you not feel overwhelmed when you were there or is it just the perspective that makes it look this way?
And is this just a corridoor or is there doorways in the archways that you just can't see... I'm curious..

This reminds me of a particular lyric from a song I was listening to in bed last night. The song is called Quiet Heart and it's by The Go-Betweens. The lyric goes, "Doesn't matter how far you come, you've always got further to go." It's pessimistic, but at the same time factual. It also reminds me of a lyric from an Echo & the Bunnymen song. The lyric goes, "Nothing comes to those who wait. Time's running out the door you're running in."
There's a long way to go, and if one just sits around and waits all the time, nothing may ever come, so it's good to get started, I think. Also, I think this piece could represent the limitlessness of life. Each little archway could be a possibility in the realm of opportunities. You really don't know what's going to happen until you pass through, and there's no sense shrinking back.
I don't think any of this is coherent anymore. I will just finish off by saying that I love this piece. The blur on the man looks great and the darkness at the end of the hall is perfect. I guess it would represent the unknown.
