The colors and the shadows work perfectingly, it's a really good image. Poor cats, though. Homeless... We worry if our cat is out after dark, and these cats lvie outside? My god, ha ha

It does seem sad at first, but they seem well fed. So I hope there is someone somwhere caring for them.

Poor babies, its so sad that there are so many homeless cats, reminds me a little of my baby who we beleive to have been abandoned, we gave out posters to every house in the area and he's not been claimed, so terribly sad when cats go wild.

I live on a university campus, and in the winter months they turn the heat on. Our campus is heated by steam which travels through the massive underground pipes, and so every few hundred feet on campus you can find a vent to release some of the pressure. In the winter, the campus cats (we have many strays on campus) crowd around these vents and fall asleep on them to stay warm. It's cute, but sad.

Wow, that just captures the eye and heart. That golden colour is so vivid, it almost looks fake, making the poor kitties look even more sad and dull. I've seen many of your photos floating around, and they are all incredible. If you don't mind my asking, about how much money worth of equipment do you own? I am thinking about a career in photography and I am curious how much money I may need to spend...
