This is a "can't see the trees for the forest" kind of shoot, and your poem accents that well. The peir/oil pipe line that runs the horizon is particulary poignent, as it gives an environmental metaphor, and also leads the viewers eye to the sunset and fisherman. The who scene looks reflected a dreamy oil slick.
