Description
The FCA 97 is the standard issue rifle of all combat arms of the Federal Republic of Julie since 2017, replacing the older CA-9 rifles based on the AR platform. It was the first production firearm to be chambered in the domestically developed and manufactured Roanne-Auclair 6.35x43 mm "Upper Intermediate Cartridge" designed to defeat modern body armour at greater ranges. One of its more unique features is the inclusion of a forward ejection port near the front of the barrel which functions similarly to the FN F2000, storing up three spent casings before ejecting them all.

The FCA 97 also has the same system the FAMAS uses to mount rifle grenades - though this feature is missing on the CCA 97 carbine due to its different muzzle brake and shortened barrel.

Designing this I used a whole bunch of different bullpup firearms from the real world and kinda mashed them together, I guess. I'll try to list the inspiration here:
